Bengals put in pre-draft work on unexpected name
Another visit and pre-draft work of note for the Bengals.
The Cincinnati Bengals will hold a visit with former Oklahoma and California running back Jaydn Ott, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler . Ott played four seasons, three at Cal, one at Oklahoma. He rushed for over 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2023 before injuries limited him to just 10 games and 116 attempts for 385 yards and four touchdowns in 2024.
He transferred to Oklahoma for the 2025 season but saw just 21 attempts for 68 yards. Ott had a chance to revitalize himself and his draft stock at the Senior Bowl and had himself a nice week, and then followed that up with a 4. 47 40-yard dash and a 40.
5-inch vertical jump. Ott is expected to be a late-round pick or a priority free agent, given his injury history and lack of production the last two seasons. This article originally appeared on Bengals Wire: Bengals put in pre-draft work on unexpected name
