A Kentucky 2027 quarterback target announces his decision

The Kentucky Wildcats targeted a number of the top quarterbacks in the 2027 class. Israel Adams announced his decision on Friday.

The Kentucky Wildcats and coach Will Stein are working on getting a quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class. They have been in a number of the top players, and have even been in the final running to land some of them. One such player, Israel Abrams , announced his decision on Friday afternoon.

Abrams had a final five schools consisting of Kentucky, Miami, Florida State , Purdue, and the Auburn Tigers . Rumors had each school leading the way at various times, but in the end, he decided to head south to become a Hurricane. It's a big win for Miami.

Abrams is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 quarterback in the class, and the No. 14 player overall.

The 6'4", 187 lb passer has a live arm, and can make plays with his legs as well. He has the potential to develop into an elite player. Kentucky would have loved to land him.
