Blue-chip wide names Florida State in top six schools
Florida State has been a major player in the recruitment of 2027 elite wide receiver Jabari Watkins lately, and named them in his top six.
The FSU Seminoles have made major strides in the recruitment of elite 2027 wide receiver Jabari Watkins as of late. In late January, wide receivers coach Tim Harris Jr. traveled to the state of Georgia to see Watkins, and he named Florida State his top school a few days later after a Junior Day visit.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder is down to just six programs in his recruitment. Those schools are Arkansas, Louisville, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, and FSU per On3's Hayes Fawcett . Watkins is coming off a productive junior season at Thomasville County Central, which was his best to date.
He racked up 55 receptions for 847 yards and 11 touchdowns. Rivals' industry rankings have Watkins listed as the No. 332 prospect and the nation's No.
44 wide receiver. He's also ranked as the No. 40 prospect in the state of Georgia.
