John Calipari reveals key to Arizona-Michigan Final Four
Arkansas coach John Calipari shared his insights on the Arizona vs. Michigan Final Four game, emphasizing aggression and guard play.
Arkansas coach John Calipari is a legend in the sport. The former Kentucky head coach, for better or worse, popularized the use of the one-and-done player, but he used it to great effect, with six Final Fours under his belt at three different schools. With the Final Four coming up, Calipari appeared on ESPN's morning show, 'Get Up,' to break down the matchups.
Calipari's Razorbacks played Arizona in the Sweet 16, where they lost, 109-88. He didn't play Michigan, but he shared some thoughts on the matchup and what will be the difference in Saturday's game. "Both Dusty and Tommy have done unbelievable jobs of putting a team together, playing a lot of people," Calipari said.
"When you have those numbers, you have a lot of room for error. Things can happen, foul trouble, injuries, guys just play bad. And you play other people.
But they both done it. "Arizona -- Koa (Peat) has stepped it up a notch, and they were a buzzsaw the game we played. I mean, right from the beginning of the game, they got after it.
