Steelers announce dates for minicamps, OTAs
The Steelers begin their preparation for the 2026 NFL season.

On Friday, the team announced that its voluntary workouts will begin on April 7.
That will include just strength, conditioning, and physical rehabilitation โ phase one of the NFL offseason โ not required, but a chance for the team to start to work together. As the Steelers have a new head coach in Mike McCarthy, they are permitted two minicamps instead of one. The first, a voluntary minicamp, will begin April 20.
The second will be mandatory and begin June 2. Both will be three days in length. This marks phase two of the NFL offseason, where teams can start to incorporate drills, but live contact and offense vs.
