College hoops' Wooden Award to be presented in Heisman-style format

•Yahoo Sports

ESPN will broadcast an awards show to present the Wooden Award, similar to what the network does for the Heisman Trophy.

The presentation of the 50th annual John R. Wooden award will look a little bit different than it has in previous years. ESPN is set to host a Heisman Trophy-like awards show to present the highest honor in college basketball to this year's winner, which is scheduled for 9 p.

m. EST on ESPNU. The ceremony will be hosted at the Los Angeles Athletic Club.

Reports indicate that Marques Johnson will present the award to the men's recipient, and JuJu Watkins is in line to present the award to the women's recipient. Johnson was the first-ever recipient of the Wooden Award. Congratulations Cooper - thrilled to have you as part of The Fraternity of Wooden Award winners!
