PFF hated one free agent move by the Falcons

The Falcons gave $10 million guaranteed to a receiver who hasn't proven himself at this level

One thing the Atlanta Falcons absolutely have to do this offseason is upgrade their wide receiver corps. Whether it's Michael Penix Jr. or Tua Tagovailoa starting at quarterback, they're going to need more help than they currently have on the roster.

For several years this unit has been a one-man show, with Drake London racking up the vast majority of yards and touchdowns at the position. The Falcons did add two more receivers in free agency, but it would be a mistake to confuse that action with achievement. Olamide Zaccheaus is returning for what should be a minor role, and right now Jahan Dotson appears to be the No.

2 option on the depth chart beneath London. That state of affairs leaves a lot to be desired, and Pro Football Focus has named the Dotson signing their least favorite move that Atlanta has made. "Dotson signed a two-year contract for $15 million with $10 million guaranteed, although that still might be more than what his recent play would justify.

He failed to earn PFF overall grades above 60. 0 in each of his past three seasons. He also ranked outside the top 100 wide receivers in PFF overall grade in each of the past two seasons.
