All-American center Lauren Betts has led the UCLA Bruins to new heights in women’s basketball . The Stanford transfer’s scoring and rebounding prowess led the Bruins to the school’s first two Women’s Final Fours in the NCAA era (since 1982). As UCLA (35-1) prepared to take on the Texas Longhorns (35-3) in the national semifinal on Friday, April 3, Betts sat down for a Thursday press conference with teammate Gabriela Jaquez and head coach Cori Close.
