Christian Kirk says it was a ‘no-brainer’ to sign with the 49ers
Christian Kirk is happy to be back on the West Coast

Watching him on film this year, I think he looks like the same guy he’s always looked like.
He had a couple of injuries that set him back, but when he came back from them, he’s the same dude. He competes. He blocks.
” If Kirk contributes like Shanahan believes he can, then his $3. 5 million in guarantees will be a bargain. Even if it’s for half a season, or for a stretch that leads to the 49ers making the playoffs, Kirk will still be viewed as a steal.
Kirk joined a podcast where he discussed his decision to join the 49ers: “Free agency was a little different this year. I felt like I was in a position to be a little bit more picky on where I wanted to go, at this point in my career. I think it just all depended on being in the right situation.
