The good, bad, indifferent from Jaguars' picks in 7-round mock draft
Let's highlight the good, the bad, and the indifferent from the Jaguars' 11 picks in a new 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft.
Josh Edwards of CBS Sports put together a seven-round mock draft recently. Rather than going pick-by-pick to break down this mock, let's take a step back and evaluate the Jacksonville Jaguars' class as a whole with the good, the bad, and the indifferent of it all. Here is a rundown of the picks made by the Jaguars in Edwards' mock: Round 2, pick 56: Domonique Orange, DL, Iowa State Round 3, pick 81: Joshua Josephs, EDGE, Tennessee Round 3, pick 88: Kamari Ramsey, S, USC Round 3, pick 100: Logan Jones, IOL, Iowa Round 4, pick 124: Kendrick Law, WR, Kentucky Round 5, pick 164: Tyreak Sapp, EDGE, Florida Round 5, pick 166: Dallen Bentley, TE, Utah Round 6, pick 203: Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson Round 7, pick 233: Jayden Loving, DL, Wake Forest Round 7, pick 240: Aamil Wagner, OT, Notre Dame Round 7, pick 245: Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana The good: Bolstering the defensive line right away At defensive end, more depth and competition are needed behind Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen.
The same two elements are needed at defensive tackle as well. Overall, the Jaguars need more consistency from their pass rush this season. I also like that in this mock, Jacksonville double-dipped at both the end and tackle positions as well.
More competition can help raise the floor of these units. The bad: No linebacker addition? James Gladstone seems bullish on the talent already on the Jaguars ' roster at linebacker, but even so, the prudent move would be adding more competition here, rather than assuming this group is good to go as is.
The good: Addressing under-the-radar needs In the early portion of Day 3, the Jaguars address wide receiver and tight end in this mock. Wide receiver is clearly on Gladstone's radar after his pursuit of Jake Bobo. We also recently took a look at why tight end is an under-the-radar need this offseason.
