Bucks named one of NBA's best teams for fans' game experience

The Milwaukee Bucks aren't one of the best NBA teams on the court this season. But, for a second year in a row , they were named one of the best in the league for fans' game experience. Milwaukee was one of three teams to receive a 2026 Game Experience Satisfaction Award at the league's annual sales and marketing meetings in January.

The award-winners had the highest percentages in overall game experience satisfaction, which is determined by postgame surveys, the Bucks said. The surveys span "the moment people arrive down at Deer District to the end of the game and their full experience," said Dustin Godsey, the Bucks' chief marketing officer. "[It] takes everybody across the entire organization to make something like this happen," Godsey said.

"We really have invested a lot of time and care into wanting to make sure that, when people come to Fiserv Forum, whether the Bucks win or lose, they have an incredible night. " Milwaukee was still ranking No. 2 in the league as of March 15, with 96% overall game experience satisfaction, Godsey said.

Just over a week later, the Bucks would clinch their first losing season since 2015-16 . And, a few days after that, they would be officially eliminated from postseason contention for the first time in a decade. It was a tumultuous year for the Bucks that goes deeper than their record.
