New coaches for Monroe and Flat Rock headline previews for Monroe County Region high school baseball teams in 2026.
There are two new baseball coaches in the Monroe County Region for 2026. They could not be more different on the experience scale. Monroe’s Greg Depew is getting his first shot at a varsity job.
He has moved up through the ranks for the Trojans, starting in 2016 as the freshman coach. He was the junior varsity coach the last two seasons. More: Monroe County Region statistical leaders for boys basketball in 2025-26 “I’m super excited,” he said of his opportunity to take the varsity team.
