Liam Porter pitched five-hit ball and allowed just one run as Exeter defeated Solanco 4-2 in a non-league baseball game on Thursday. Porter struck out five before giving way to sophomore Xavier Jacobs who pitched the last two innings, who gave up just two hits and one run, which was unearned. Jacobs also knocked in a run.
For the Eagles (5-2 overall), Matt Woram went 1 for 2 with two RBIs. Northwestern Lehigh 15, Kutztown 5: Lucian Sterling had three RBIs and Cannon Fitch two as the Tigers defeated the Cougar 15-5 in five innings on Thursday in a non-league game. For the Cougars (3-3), Robbie Ott had two RBIs.
