Luka Doncic exited the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the OKC Thunder with a left hamstring injury Thursday night at Paycom Center. The Lakers ruled Doncic out for the remainder of the game near the start of the fourth quarter. He appeared to tweak his hamstring mid play before walking toward the baseline and laying down.
The injury occurred with 7:39 remaining in the third quarter as the Lakers trailed OKC 90-58. Doncic previously had been grabbing at his hamstring before Los Angeles went into the halftime break trailing by 31. He exited the game with 12 points, seven assists, four rebounds and six turnovers on 3-of-10 shooting from the field.
Doncic needs just one more game played to meet the NBA's 65-game requirement for to be considered for major postseason awards. He was named the Western Conference Player of the Month for March on Thursday after averaging 37. 5 points, 8.
