Colts GM Chris Ballard hints at acquiring more picks come draft weekend
Colts GM Chris Ballard admittedly loves ‘dem picks,’ so it’s a matter of attempting to get more come draft weekend.

” Currently, the Colts have the following draft picks for the 2026 NFL Draft: Round 2, Pick 15 (No. 47 overall) Round 3, Pick 14 (No. 78 overall) Round 4, Pick 13 (No.
113 overall) Round 5, Pick 16 (No. 156 overall) Round 6, Pick 33 (No. 214 overall – via PIT) Round 7, Pick 33 (No.
249 overall – Compensatory) Round 7, Pick 38 (No. 254 overall ) Now, while it’s possible the Colts could trade a future more primo pick than the current round they’d be acquiring from another NFL team, more than likely this means that Ballard will be looking to opportunistically trade down at selective spots come draft weekend. We know Chris Ballard ‘loves ‘dem picks,’ and without a first round pick this year (and next for that matter), the Colts longtime GM may have to get creative in acquiring more draft capital during the upcoming draft.
