Former Villanova star Collin Gillespie sets Suns record for three-pointers

Gillespie is now alone at the top of the list for the Suns.

Collin Gilllespie spent years knocking down three’s within Villanova’s offense and that has translated into the NBA. On Thursday night, Gillespie knocked down two three-pointers to get to 227 on the year for the Phoenix Suns. This set a new franchise record for three’s made in a single-season, passing the previous mark of 226 set by Quentin Richardson in 2004-25.
