Former MSU star Porter Martone has massive performance in home debut

•Yahoo Sports

In his home debut with the Philadelphia Flyers, Porter Martone was a star on the ice.

Michigan State hockey lost its star freshman forward to a professional contract with the Philadelphia Flyers, where he has been suiting up in the NHL for the past two games. In his second career NHL game, and his first at home in Philadelphia, Martone had a massive performance against the Detroit Red Wings. In the game, he secured his first career point, an assist, and got nine shots on the goal in the game.

Needless to say, Martone was all over the ice, making plays and a massive impact on the game, a pivotal one to the NHL playoff push. With his performance, Martone received the honor of being the second star of the game. TRAVIS KONECNY MAKES IT A 1 GOAL GAME ONCE AGAIN.
