Coen Carr reveals he's received interest from Chicago Bears, other NFL teams
Does Michigan State super athlete forward Coen Carr have a future in the NFL? It's apparently something that isn't as farfetched as you may believe... We've all seen the way Carr can fly through the sky to either throw down a monster dunk or grab a rebound, and apparently some NFL teams have also taken notice.
In a recent interview with I AM ATHLETE, Carr stated that he's received some interest from a number of NFL teams, including the Chicago Bears. "People came to my academic advisor while they were watching our football team," Carr said in the interview . "They came up to me, asked me questions and everything.

com/Pzeqtwt3km โ I AM ATHLETE (@IAMATHLETEpod) April 2, 2026 When you are the kind of athlete that Carr has proven to be, it really shouldn't come as a surprise that some NFL teams have came sniffing around. I would assume Carr would be in line for a possible tight end or wide receiver spot in the NFL should something actually materialize there -- which isn't a bad fallback plan if basketball doesn't workout. Carr finished up this past season averaging 12 points and 5.
4 rebounds per game, and has one more year of college eligibility remaining. Hopefully, we will be seeing Carr on the Breslin Center court for another season, but who knows, maybe he'll be lining up for the Bears or some other NFL team in the near future too.
