Jim Harbaugh spoke about who is projected to start at right guard in the upcoming season.

Strange inked a two-year, $13 million deal with the Bolts in free agency as one of the former players to have worked with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel during his time in Miami. Head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Strange has been playing as the primary right guard, in part, to his familiarity with McDaniel's scheme.

"Yeah, that's where he's been playing," Harbaugh said. "Familiarity and availability. As Mike was explaining the offense, and Butch Barry, we were watching a lot of Miami tape.

You could see Cole Strange was really good at all the things they would be implementing. Harbaugh left the door open for the offensive line, stating that it isn't set in stone with the 2026 season approaching.

"Competing, starters? Yeah, sure," Harbaugh said. "Competitors welcome, you know how I feel about that.
