Martin County Sheriff’s Office via AP Tiger Woods called President Donald Trump from the scene of his rollover car crash moments before he was arrested with a DUI, a new video shows. Woods was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his Range Rover last Friday in an accident in Jupiter, Florida. The golf legend was reportedly carrying two hydrocodone pills in his pocket and appeared to have “glassy eyes” when he was arrested after allegedly refusing a DUI check at the scene.
In police bodycam footage , Woods can be heard telling police he was looking at his phone before the crash. But new footage obtained by TMZ adds further detail to the incident. A cop wearing the bodycam in the new footage can be heard calling to Woods, asking him to return to the area with law enforcement.
“Mr. Woods,” the cop called repeatedly as Woods appeared walking down the road towards the officer. “We need you to hang out down here with us, please.
” Woods can be heard speaking on the phone for a moment before hanging up. “Thank you so much. All right.
