Mumbai: In a big boost for Mumbai Indians ahead of their IPL 2026 clash against Delhi Capitals on Saturday, New Zealand captain and left-arm spinning all-rounder Mitchell Santner has joined the MI squad in Delhi on Thursday, TOI has learnt. Santner had missed Mumbai Indians’ six-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders last Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. In Santner’s absence, MI handed a debut to Afghanistan’s young spinner Allah Ghazanfar, who conceded 51 runs without taking a wicket in his four overs against KKR’s aggressive batting lineup.
