The Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers have been linked to a free agent edge rusher who is looking for a new home after spending the last 15 seasons with the New Orleans Saints .

Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport believes the Bears and 49ers should look into signing Saints free agent pass rusher Cameron Jordan, who is one of the top players left on the market. "There are a handful of teams who could really use an edge-rusher, including potential contenders like the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers. Jordan may not be the full-time, every-down force he once was, but he can still inject pop into a pass rush," Davenport said.

Jordan has clearly lost a step, but the 36-year-old is still a reliable and productive player who had 10. 5 sacks this past season. The California product has also appeared in all 17 games for three straight seasons.

Chicago could use an experienced edge rusher like Jordan to pair with Montez Sweat on the defensive line. Jordan would also be a fantastic veteran leader for the young and up-and-coming Bears, led by Ben Johnson. San Francisco needs to find another capable pass rusher to complement Nick Bosa, who is coming off a torn ACL .
