Josh Heupel recaps Tennessee's second spring football scrimmage

Tennessee held its second football scrimmage during spring practices on Thursday at Neyland Stadium . The Vols will return to practice on April 7. Tennessee will conclude spring practices with its annual Orange & White Game on April 11 at Neyland Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p. m. EDT.

Sixth-year head coach Josh Heupel recapped Tennessee's second spring football scrimmage on Thursday. "Good work today, inside the scrimmage, scrimmage No. 2," Heupel said.

"I thought, defensively, they did a really good job in the early part of the scrimmage. They were assignment sound, being in the right position and then getting off the field on third down. "The second half of the scrimmage, the offense put a couple of things together.
