trade, Quinn Hughes of the Minnesota Wild will be facing off against his former team of the Vancouver Canucks for the very first time. Hughes was the captain of the Canucks, but was traded to Minnesota on the night of Dec. 12 in exchange for center Marco Rossi, defenseman Zeev Buium, forward Liam Ohgren and a 2026 first round pick.
Following the trade, the former Norris Trophy winner has already tallied 49 points for Minnesota across four goals and 45 assists. Hughes would also go on to represent the U. S.
and help them to Olympic gold at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics ā being awarded tournament Best Defenseman. The Wild host the Canucks with a 8:00 p. m.
