He made three straight Pro Bowls with New England during his final trio of seasons with the team, earned two First Team All-Pro nods and was named the AP Defensive Player of the Year following the 2019 campaign.
Gilmore led the NFL in passes defended (20) and interceptions (six) that season and also won a Super Bowl during the 2018 campaign with the Patriots. The South Carolina product wrapped up his career by earning his fifth and final Pro Bowl honor in 2021 with the Carolina Panthers and spent one season apiece with the Indianapolis Colts (2022), Dallas Cowboys (2023) and Minnesota Vikings (2024).
