Elliot Cadeau reunited with Michigan basketball after medical scare
Michigan point guard Elliot Cadeau is back with his team in Indianapolis for the Final Four after an allergy scare that sent him to the hospital.
INDIANAPOLIS ā Michigan basketball's trip to the Final Four began with a medical scare for point guard Elliot Cadeau . It appears all is well. Cadeau was on hand in Indianapolis on Thursday, April 2, with the Wolverines to partake in Final Four media activities and is scheduled to practice in the closed session later in the afternoon as Dusty May's team acclimates to its new environment.
"A minor inconvenience," Cadeau said in the locker room. "Just ate something I was allergic to. Went to the hospital just as a precaution, tried to make sure it wasn't gonna get bad.
" Cadeau realized he ate something that contained walnuts, which is why he immediately contacted the medical personnel. He had an allergic reaction to the drupe as a young kid and said "earlier in my life it got really bad. ...
but it wasn't anything [like that]. " Still, he immediately sought medical attention. Cadeau spent the night in Ann Arbor and got a ride down to Indianapolis Thursday morning with a staff member.
