The Las Vegas Raiders and quarterback Kirk Cousins have agreed to a contract that could be worth up to $172 million over five years, though “only” $20 million of that is guaranteed in 2026, according to ESPN . The 37-year-old is widely expected to serve as a veteran presence for former Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who the Raiders are expected to pick first overall in the NFL draft. New Raiders coach Klint Kubiak told reporters earlier this week that the team would like to sit Mendoza for a bit while he learns the ropes.
