It's a simple thing, but Tkachuk declined to talk to the media on Thursday ahead of the Senators' game against the Sabres. Brady Tkachuk & Linus Ullmark were both requested to speak with the media ahead of tonightโs game vs Buffalo but were not available according to the #Sens .

But there's often also a lot interpreted as being said by someone choosing not to talk. The Senators aren't entirely eliminated from the playoffs at the moment, but they're on the outside looking in in the Eastern Conference.
Their game against Buffalo on Thursday is a huge one -- a win would improve confidence in a great way. Tkachuk has also been involved in early trade rumors ahead of the offseason. The 26-year old winger has 20 goals and 31 assists (51 points) in 54 games this season.
