Bengals sign back-to-back free agents to help defense
The Bengals made another free-agent signing.
The Cincinnati Bengals weren’t stopping with just Ja’Sir Taylor on Thursday . According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter , the Bengals also signed former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Kyle Dugger to a one-year deal. Those Bengals moved to attack the secondary twice on Thursday while getting some of that repeatedly mentioned veteran leadership added to the defense.
Dugger, 30, is a former second-round pick who can come in and help out on special teams and serve as depth behind Jordan Battle and Bryan Cook. The Bengals needed the help after losing key depth Tycen Anderson on the open market.
