The announcement followed an Instagram video in which Allen kissed Steinfeld’s stomach before she appeared wearing a shirt with the word “mother” printed across it. The couple has been together since 2023, and they got engaged and later married in 2024. Steinfeld, 29, who recently starred in the Oscar-winning film Sinners, spoke in a November interview with Bustle about her desire to have children with Allen and the impact he has had on her life.
