Bills' Joe Brady has 'clear vision' for new WR DJ Moore

What Bills head coach Joe Brady said about WR DJ Moore.

The Joe Brady era for the Bills is officially underway, and one of the first major personnel moves was a blockbuster. Buffalo traded for wide receiver DJ Moore. And according to Brady, the move isn't just about filling a need; it's about reuniting with a player whom he has a “clear vision” to unleash within Buffalo’s offense.

Seven consecutive playoff appearances without a Super Bowl made change inevitable in Buffalo. Elevating Brady to head coach was one of the first big ones, and the acquisition of Moore was another. The Bills sent a 2026 second-round pick to the Chicago Bears in exchange for Moore and a 2026 fifth-rounder.

Speaking from the NFL league meetings, Brady made it clear the player he saw on tape in 2025 wasn’t a diminished version of the star he once coached. "That wasn't any different than the guy that I'd coached," Brady said . His plan?

"Get the ball in his hands. " It's a calculated move to address a glaring area of need at a reasonable cap hit. Josh Allen will again finally have a true WR1, something the team hasn't had since trading Stefon Diggs two years ago.
