Deputies release bodycam video of Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest after crash
Martin County deputies have released video showing the arrest of golf icon Tiger Woods. Woods was charged with DUI following a car crash last week. The charges were announced before police released body camera footage of the encounter on Thursday.
According to authorities, a police officer discovered hydrocodone pills in Woods’ pockets during the investigation at the crash site. Woods has since pleaded not guilty to the DUI charges. Newly released body camera footage of the incident shows Woods kneeling while being questioned by law enforcement at the scene of the crash.
The video captures the moments leading up to the golfer being taken into custody. Following the charges, Woods was granted legal permission to leave the United States. He described the travel as necessary to seek what he called “comprehensive inpatient treatment and privacy.
