Memphis basketball guard Quante Berry intends to enter the transfer portal, his mother, Quran Nalory, confirmed to The Commercial Appeal on April 2. The 6-foot-4 Cleveland, Tennessee, native was a member of Penny Hardaway's 2025-26 roster . It was his first season with the Tigers after spending the previous two seasons at Temple.

Berry began his collegiate career at Providence, where he redshirted as a freshman.
