This offseason the Miami Dolphins signed arguably the top quarterback on the market when they brought in Malik Willis on a three-year deal to replace Tua Tagovailoa as their starter for the 2026 season. Willis had an obvious connection to the Dolphins , as he spent the last two seasons with the Green Bay Packers where new Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley served as vice president of player personnel and defensive coordinator, respectively. At the NFL league meetings this week, Hafley sat down with Kay Adams and gushed about his new starting quarterback.
"I love Malik," Hafley said. "It was really fun being there with him for two years. We got really close...
He's one of the best guys ever. He's a great guy. He's a great teammate.
He'll be unbelievable in the community, and he's a good player. You saw him when he came in in those games, what he was able to do... "He's exciting to watch.
