Laurent Mekies says Helmut Marko still advising Red Bull even after departure

Since stepping away from Formula 1, Marko has largely kept out of the spotlight, only offering comments when specifically asked by the media. Laurent Mekies’ approach to managing Isack Hadjar has drawn praise for delivering results.
The young driver has shown real growth under the new setup. Liam Lawson also appears to be in better form since Marko’s departure. Still, it’s clear that Marko hasn’t fully stepped away from the scene.

Mekies pointed out that Marko is still very much in touch with members of the team, and keeps in regular contact with the drivers. “I’m pretty sure they’re still talking.
Maybe not at 7am, but maybe a bit later in the day.
