Grading Jaguars 4 picks in 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft
Let's grade the Jaguars' draft haul in a recent three-round mock.
ESPN's Mel Kiper, Field Yates, Jordan Reid, and Matt Miller recently put together a three-round mock draft . So let's grade how things turned out for the Jacksonville Jaguars . For a pick-by-pick breakdown of the Jaguars ' four selections, you can find that here .
Below are the individual selections made by Jacksonville in this mock. Pick 56: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri Pick 81: Gracen Halton, DT, Oklahoma Pick 88: Brenen Thompson, WR, Missouri Pick 100: Genesis Smith, S, Arizona Grading Jaguars' picks in the latest 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft Overall, this is a solid three rounds for the Jaguars. The addition of Trotter adds competition at linebacker for the starting spot next to Foye Oluokun and boosts the overall depth.
Landing Halton in Round 3 provides needed depth at defensive tackle and can provide that unit with needed juice. The next two picks don't address pressing needs, however. But we do know that wide receiver is on the Jaguars' radar after their pursuit of Jake Bobo , while adding Smith replenishes the safety depth with Andrew Wingard leaving in free agency.
He can compete with Caleb Ransaw and Rayuan Lane for those third and fourth spots on the depth chart. Those picks go to show the flexibility that the Jaguars possess in the draft, with them having 11 picks in total and four selections in the top 100. That said, from a pure positional need standpoint, adding to the defensive end spot should be a higher priority than the receiver and safety positions.
