Here's when the Bills will first be making use of their new Highmark Stadium home, clear your schedule.
The Buffalo Bills have made it known when the first large scale event will take place at their new Highmark Stadium home. According to the team via the Buffalo News , mark your calendar on Aug. 8.
Bills COO Pete Guelli told the outlet that the occasion that date will be this summer's Return of the Blue & Red practice under the lights that is traditionally held back at the stadium in Orchard Park. That is going to be the case once again, but in 2026, that means it will be at the new Highmark Stadium on that date: If you want to be inside Highmark Stadium for its first major event, clear your schedule on August 8. The Bills are planning to scrimmage under the lights that night, and the team wants to make it a big event.
Coverage from Phoenix: https://t. co/klgEAvOgtk ā Lance Lysowski (@LLysowski) March 31, 2026 Guelli told the BN the team wants to make the typical scrimmage-like practice "special," adding: "The building will be full for an event like that, and having it on a Saturday, potentially in the evening, is going to allow us to ramp up, do some things during the day and have more people there. We know how important this is.
" Smaller events are reportedly going to be held prior to August at the venue, but nothing as large and full-go as the Blue & Red practice.
