The University of North Alabama officially introduced Anna Nimz as the school's 10th head women's basketball coach on Wednesday.
FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) — The University of North Alabama officially introduced Anna Nimz as the school’s 10th head women’s basketball coach on Wednesday. Nimz comes to Florence after spending six years at Northwestern State.
She replaces Candace Whitaker, who left UNA for the head coaching gig at Kansas City last month. News 19 Sports Director Josiah Elmore spoke with Nimz after she was introduced. The full interview can be watched in the video player above.
