Sophomore Alie Bisballe will transfer from Wisconsin women's basketball

The Badgers suffered their first loss to the transfer portal April 1 when sophomore forward Alie Bisballe announced her departure.

MADISON โ€“ The Wisconsin womenโ€™s basketball team lost its first player of the year to the transfer portal Wednesday April 1. Alie Bisballe , a 6-foot-4 forward, announced her intention to leave the program on social media. She will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Bisballe, who is from Lake City, Mich. , played in 36 games in two seasons and averaged 1. 3 points per game.

She had a season high of five points in a loss to Illinois Feb. 11 and a career-high seven points in a loss to UCLA last season. โ€œThank you to the coaching staff and my teammates for this amazing opportunity,โ€ she wrote.
