BASEBALL Tuesday, March 31, 2026 Green 10, Eastern Pike 0 (F/6) Buoyed by a combined four-hitter from Green pitchers Brennan Renison and Uriah Satterfield, the Green Bobcats' baseball program was able to claim a 10-0 triumph over the Eastern Pike Eagles' baseball program Tuesday evening in a contest that was held at Green High School. Renison, who got the start on the mound, led the way with a one-hitter through four innings. Renison struck out seven batters on Tuesday evening, and went 1-for-2 with two walks, RBI and a run scored to boot at the plate for Green (3-0).
Satterfield added in a 2-for-4 day at the dish with a double, two RBI and two runs scored while Gabe Blevins (2-for-4, double, two RBI, run scored), Jon Knapp (2-for-4, two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored) and Riddick Jenkins (2-for-3, double, RBI, three runs scored) also joined the multi-hit column. Conner Blanton and Carson Johnson rounded out those who obtained a hit in the game by going 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored and 1-for-1 to boot, respectively. Notre Dame 3, Paint Valley 2 Riding a strong effort by Notre Dame's Connor Estep, the Notre Dame Titans' baseball program was able to grind out a 3-2 victory over the Paint Valley Bearcats' baseball program in a nonconference matchup that took place on Tuesday evening in Portsmouth.
Estep, who allowed just two hits in his six innings of work, effectively pitched around six free passes by striking out eight batters in Notre Dame's 3-2 triumph to pick up the winning decision. Sawyer Rutman came on in relief in the seventh inning to pick up the save for Notre Dame (3-0). At the plate, Luke Cassidy's two-run homer in the third inning allowed the senior to go 1-for-2 with two walks, two RBI and a run scored while Bryce McGraw went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the contest.
