Matt Lange has resigned after four seasons as the Logansport boys basketball coach. Lange said it was a situation where the timing worked out well for him to step down following the end of his youngest son Logan’s basketball career for the Berries. “It’s to a point where it’s time to go and do something else,” Lange said.

“And I’m really excited about this. This has been the plan for me for probably the last four or five years that once Logan graduated high school, I would potentially reevaluate and think about stepping down or stepping away from coaching altogether. And it was the time for me.

And yeah, it’s perfect. ” Lange was the head coach the past four years and was an assistant coach for over a decade longer before that under coaches Mark Victor, Pat Skaggs and Drew Schauss. “It’s been about 15 years that I’ve been with the basketball program and then did some soccer stuff for a couple years in there, and I want to pursue other things,” he said.
