Penn State QB Rocco Becht shares personal injury update
Potential Penn State Nittany Lions starting quarterback Rocco Becht took to the media to discuss how his injury is progressing.
Penn State football is back in full swing with spring practices after a three-month break from the field. The depth chart isnโt beginning to take form just yet, but there are a number of players who are performing well and creating a buzz around their names. One of those players was expected to be transfer quarterback Rocco Becht, who came over from Iowa State along with Matt Campbell in hopes of winning the Nittany Lions โ starting job.
He has a good chance to do so, but he hasnโt been able to show much this spring as he recovers from a shoulder surgery he underwent back in December. Itโs been a disappointing week for the position, with redshirt freshman Alex Manske sidelined for the entire spring period, but luckily it sounds like Becht is recovering well. โI feel a lot better and thatโs really the biggest thing for me,โ Becht told reporters.
โI could rush back and get back with the team. But I want to be fully healthy and fully repaired because I donโt want to have a season like I did last year. โ Penn State quarterback Rocco Becht talks injury recovery, leading from sideline and more https://t.
