Puka Nacua’s lawyer released a statement saying the Rams WR will be out of rehab with plenty of time to participate in OTAs this offseason.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua voluntarily checked into rehab early last month, his attorney Levi McCathern told The California Post on Wednesday. The recovery center is located in Malibu, and Nacua has been in and out of the facility multiple times since checking in last month. After news broke, Nacua's attorney issued a statement on the Rams wide receiver.

He says Nacua "takes responsibility for his well-being and increasing his performance during the off-season," and that he voluntarily entered the "holistic care facility to focus on his personal growth. " According to McCathern, Nacua checked into rehab before the lawsuit was filed against him for allegedly biting a woman and making an antisemitic comment on New Year's Eve. McCathern says Nacua will complete the program in "plenty of time to be involved in all of the Rams OTAs.

" Below is the full statement from McCathern, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network . "Puka takes responsibility for his well-being and increasing his performance during the off-season. So, in early March - before any temporary restraining order was filed by Madison Atiabi and subsequently denied by the Court - Puka voluntarily entered a holistic care facility to focus on his personal growth.

"He is committed to using this time constructively so that he can return in the best possible position - both personally and professionally - to continue contributing to his team and the game he loves. He will complete the program in plenty of time to be involved in all of the Rams OTAs. Puka is also deeply grateful for the support he has received from his family, friends, Coach McVay, and his teammates.
