With the boys high school golf season approaching, 2025 sectional champion Terre Haute South and sectional runner-up Terre Haute North are aiming to return to the regional. Having just missed finishing in the top three sectional teams last season, Northview will attempt to get back in its usual regional-qualifying spot. "I want to be a positive role model for the players, help the kids reach their full potential and help the players enjoy a lifelong sport. " Utterback replaced Mike Bailey. "Some of our returning players include seniors Gunnar Bland, Landon Fields and Andrew Kidwell," Utterback continued.

"We have a great young sophomore and freshman core looking to compete in the top five. "Our team goals will be to become better individual and team golfers by the end of the season and compete for a top three spot in the sectional. " The Vikings' first match will be against Clay City on April 10 at Forest Park.
