twitter. com/qrTFcLSsdu — Transfer Portal (@TransferPortal) April 1, 2026 Dilione originally began his playing career at Tennessee, where he spent his first two years before transferring to Penn State before the start of the 2024-25 season. His first year in Happy Valley saw him start in 28 of PSU’s 31 games, averaging 9.
4 points per game. Despite only starting in 15 of PSU’s 32 games played in his second season, Freddie’s scoring production was significantly higher, reaching over 14 ppg, and eclipsing 20 points in six of those games, including a career-high 25 in a gritty 77-75 win over Minnesota. Given that he has only one year of eligibility remaining and that PSU is far away at the moment from being a serious NCAA Tournament participant next season, this move comes as little surprise, as you can imagine he wants one last serious crack at the Big Dance.
