Keyser routs Hampshire; Moorefield cruises over Tucker County
KEYSER, W. Va. — No.
2 Keyser scored 10 runs in the first inning and cruised to a three-inning 17-1 rout of Hampshire on Tuesday. The Golden Tornado (6-1) recorded five hits and three walks during the frame and also reached on three errors. Sophie Lambka, Suzy Cosenza and Bibs Felton each had a pair of hits.
Cosenza drove in three RBIs while Lambka, Kailynn Burns and Addy Paugh all drove in a pair. Tavery Lyons got the win in two frames, she was charged with an unearned run on two hits and a walk with a strikeout. Charly Ashton and Payton Billmeyer recorded the two hits for the Trojans (0-4).
