Allegany boys, Southern girls win tennis matches; Campers, Northern split

OAKLAND — The Allegany boys and Southern girls both won by 3-2 scores on Tuesday. Allegany and Southern split the boys singles matches. The Rams' Charlie Buchanan edged Traeh Grassi, 6-1, 4-6 (10-8), and the Campers' Rishabh Patel defeated Andrew SanJulian, 6-3, 6-1.

OAKLAND — The Allegany boys and Southern girls both won by 3-2 scores on Tuesday. Allegany and Southern split the boys singles matches. The Rams' Charlie Buchanan edged Traeh Grassi, 6-1, 4-6 (10-8), and the Campers' Rishabh Patel defeated Andrew SanJulian, 6-3, 6-1.

Allegany took two of the three doubles bouts to secure the win. Southern won the first doubles, as Shane Sisler/Sean Eiswert beat Noah Marker/Eoin Mowbray, 6-4, 7-6 (5). Allegany's Evan Phisko and Nick Wilt defeated Killian Crooks and Gus Alvarez, 6-1, 6-4, and Lincoln Knight and Lawson Rando bested Josh Webber and Gibson Shaw, 6-2, 6-2.

The Rams and Campers also split the girls singles matches. In No. 1 singles, Southern's Ava Hunt defeated Chloe DeBlock, 7-6, 6-2, and Allegany's Danica Knight beat Morgan Spencer, 3-6, 6-3 (10-2).
