It's time for the Notre Dame Football midweek rundown. The Irish just wrapped up their sixth spring practice. Today was also their first time going full contact this offseason.

Head coach Marcus Freeman gave an update earlier this morning about how things were going and there were a lot of takeaways. He gave an injury update, talked through letting the players loose in practice and talked about the offensive line and defensive line. There was a lot to take away from his press conference this morning.

Now that we're nearing the half-way point in spring practice, we also ranked the five position groups on offense on where things stand today. Then we talked through Notre Dame's most underrated recruits that are notable alumni, currently on the team and top targets in the 2027 recruiting cycle. We wrapped everything up by talking about the major quarterback battles going on throughout college football and their implications.
