Schools starting to emerge for standout ’28 OL Lance Ciechanowski following SEC visits
We had a chance to check in with Chatsworth (Calif. ) Sierra Canyon sophomore offensive lineman Lance Ciechanowski at the Adidas Polynesian Bowl Combine two weeks ago and he has a pair of schools at the top of his list. Ciechanowski is an exciting young tackle prospect, currently rated the No.
53 player nationally in the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services. He missed most of his sophomore season with a lower leg injury but oozes upside and looked good moving around at the Poly Combine and told us he’s recovered and will be full go for spring practice. He measured in at an athletic 6-foot-5, 292 pounds with long arms and looked fluid in the position drills.
He’s a true tackle and despite the lack of game reps, Ciechanowski is already a national recruit with scholarship offers from schools all over the country. Texas is a high on his list and Ciechanowski camped with the Longhorns last summer and picked up a scholarship offer. “That trip was amazing,” Ciechanowski said.
“I loved the hospitality and environment. The Southern hospitality is different and I loved the coaching staff and being around coach Flood. “Coach Flood is one of my favorite coaches and reminds me of one my coaches here at Sierra Canyon.
I love his mindset and mentality. It’s technique over everything and we have a really good relationship. ” Ciechanowski was back at Texas earlier this week and had another great visit.
