Michigan football's Jaime Ffrench, a former five-star recruit, is 'killing it' in spring practice, according to teammate Andrew Marsh.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Perhaps lost in the mix of the players Michigan football brought in this offseason is wide receiver Jaime Ffrench. The former Texas wideout is entering his second year after being rated the No.

26 player in the country by ESPN. But with some other incoming transfer wide receivers, such as JJ Buchanan and true freshman Salesi Moa, there hasn't been nearly the hype for the player who was once a five-star recruit. But his newfound teammate, Andrew Marsh, is excited about what Ffrench is doing thus far in spring ball and what he provides to the corps.

"Ffrench, he's been coming in, he's been killing it," Marsh said. "He was another good receiver to get. I was really glad that we got him.

I'm pretty close with him on and off the field. He's been doing a great job, really just working every day. " Marsh was partly key when it came to bringing Ffrench to Ann Arbor, given that they already had a friendship and rapport from the recruiting cycle and seeing each other during the camp circuits.
